Quality Assurance Analyst

Key Role:

Leverage expertise in a variety of software quality assurance (QA) concepts, practices, and procedures. Analyze the design, development, and maintenance of test cases, test approaches, and test plans. Conduct manual functional testing, regression testing, and system integration testing, support user acceptance testing, and report issues found during the test life cycle. Create test cases that verify approved requirements for assigned modules and document results and assist with software application troubleshooting and technical diagnosis. Assist with creating project schedules and creating milestones while monitoring and tracking progress against plan.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with providing in-depth requirement analysis and drafting and receiving approval for new requirements, including final technical review and validation of requirements

-3+ years of experience with performance testing, test design and strategy, and verification and validation

-3+ years of experience with applying and developing detailed test plans and scripts

-Experience with describing necessary functionality, prioritizing needs, and developing actionable, measurable, testable requirements

-Experience with JIRA
-Ability to comprehend QA processes and follow QA process guidelines

-Ability to create and update test cases and perform requirements traceability to ensure all requirements are tested and accounted for
-Public Trust clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with QA and testing principles following Agile principles, including Scrum, XP, or TDD

-Experience with Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing implementation projects

-Experience with identifying new opportunities to implement client-required changes

-Experience with developing mock-ups and visuals to assist in comprehension of the desired state, as appropriate

-Experience with automated test suites, including Proof or Selenium

-Possession of excellent client-facing or consulting skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
