Recruiting Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Support and conduct activities related to the recruitment of external applicants. Develop and maintain contacts with various employment sources to meet the organizations staffing requirements for professional level employees. Participate in the organizations staff planning activities and interview managers to determine hiring needs, serve as a member of the recruitment team, and engage with client staff to source applicants to efficiently and effectively fill open positions. Research new ways of using the internet for recruitment. Work with client to implement a recruitment plan that uses social media, job sites, and job fairs. Attend job fairs and recruitment events, and determine applicant qualifications by comparing job description and applicant resume, maintain candidate files, both electronic and hard-copy, track candidate status and progress through hiring progress. Collect and analyze recruitment and hiring metrics and report to client.  

Basic Qualifications:  

-2+ years of experience with Human Resource, strategic human capital, or recruiting  

-Experience in managing an applicant tracking system and other recruiting-related systems and databases 

-Experience with market research, data analysis, reporting metrics, or making recommendations regarding recruitment and hiring sources, tools, processes, and methods 

-Experience in coordinating participation at external job fairs and internal recruiting events 

-Experience in sourcing and reviewing resumes  

-Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and internet search engines  

-Experience in consulting with DoD or intelligence community clients  

-Ability to communicate with associates, job applicants and vendors, through face-to-face, phone and email communications 

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph  

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:  

-Experience in creating and maintaining project plans and process maps 

-Knowledge of University recruitment programs 

-Ability to manage conflicting priorities and timelines  

-Possession of excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, including analyzing problems, conducting research, and evaluating options for action  

-Possession of excellent consulting and client relationship skills  

-BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications or related field preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
