Requirements Manager

Key Role:

Assist headquarters (HQ) programmatic, Joint Capabilities and Integration Development System (JCIDS), and analysis support with current and future bomber program requirements and HQ operations and training support to current and future bomber weapon systems. Engage at the Air Force and national policy issue level, including supporting short notice taskings and integrate future program and operations and training needs. Conduct research to support Air Force inputs to other Major Commands (MAJCOMs), Air Force, Joint, and national agencies, assist with technical advice, analytical reports, test planning, cost and feasibility analyses, and decision support. Analyze operational capabilities and requirements of the warfighting commands, and employ diverse thinking and adapt building and staffing solutions to the client’s most demanding challenges. Analyze program management, research, and decision support for bomber modernization and sustainment, assess bomber operational and training programs to ensure conventional and nuclear mission requirements, balanced against bomber fleet health are met, and prepare, review, and comment on requirements process documents to determine impact to client missions. Maintain responsibility of manage a bomber requirements database to provide operational impacts to the bomber fleet and maintain an electronic system access, classified and unclassified to provide operational support. Attend organizational requirements meetings, working groups, site visits, both on and off-station and report back to the client, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years bomber experience in operations and maintenance

-3+ years of experience in working with Air Force MAJCOM, Headquarters Air Force (HAF), or Joint

-2+ years of experience with requirements at the NAF, Air Force MAJCOM, HAF, or Joint equivalent level

-Experience with Bomber operational and/or maintenance

-Ability to comprehend bomber weapon system

-Ability to draft and edit document briefings, point, background, white papers, and slide presentations

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with nuclear weapon, safety, surety, handling, and support

-Experience with Air Force Global Strike Command

​-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent organizational, time management and analytical, and problem-solving skills

-Advanced Studies Group (ASG) or USAF Weapon’s School graduate

-Defense Acquisition University Requirements Level-B Certification
