Schedule Analyst

Key Role:
Evaluate contractor schedules for realism, quality, performance, and risk and perform cost and schedule risk analyses to determine a probabilistic cost and schedule at project completion. Work with clients and teams to analyze and monitor project schedules and establish and monitor the program's execution towards milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria. Develop and manage multiple projects and program schedules that effectively communicate to all levels of the project team and stakeholders for portfolio management. Interface with the client or internal program management on scheduling issues relevant to the assigned program. Prepare and present briefings on schedule status and program health to varying levels of management. Provide earned value management, resource loading of schedule, establishment of project management processes, and schedule risk analysis, develop recommendations, gather buy-in, and implement the approach across a multi-stakeholder, technical, and matrixed organizational environment. Manage, mentor, and train other users, as required. This position requires the ability to work across the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Basic Qualifications: 
-5+ years of experience with scheduling and planning 
-2+ years of experience with complex or large projects 
-1+ years of experience with managing enterprise or integrated schedules 
-Experience with scheduling tools, including Microsoft Project and Primavera
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access 
-Ability to assess schedules and other project controls data critically and communicate priority findings to teams 

-Ability to assess a situation or process, make recommendations and goals for improvement, develop a plan for implementation, gather inputs and buy-in for the approach, and perform change management

-Ability to influence clients and team to adjust approach and try new capabilities
-Ability to obtain a security clearance 
-BA or BS degree required 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with supporting programs and contracts within the federal government 
-Experience with developing a resource-loaded schedule 
-Experience with earned value and portfolio management 
-Experience with performing schedule risk assessments (SRAs) and enterprise risk assessments 

-Experience with establishing project management offices and establishing project controls practices
-Experience with government consulting

-Experience with training others on scheduling best practices 

-Ability to manage client and team relationships 

-Ability to be flexible, show initiative, be innovative, and deal with ambiguous and fast-paced situations 

-Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills 
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills 
-BA or BS degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics 

-PMP Certification
