Security Administrator, Mid

Key Role:
Leverage experience with administering US government security policies and procedures and managing classified government contract programs, including overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), such as maintaining the structural integrity of the SCIF, managing and monitoring all access, and administering security education. Sustain flexibility, set priorities, and manage customer expectations in a sometimes fast-paced environment. Support clearance processing, visit certifications, document control, and physical security, including alarm responses for controlled areas in accordance with the NISPOM and applicable Director of Central Intelligence Directives (DCIDs) or Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) associated with both collateral and SCI security programs, as appropriate. Execute sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions by communicating information to various audiences through oral and written communication. Interact with internal and external customers or government security officials to perform security duties and address routine personnel security matters with employees regarding issues, report preparation, program security access briefings, and other duties, as required. 

Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience with industrial security
-Experience with database functions, including JPAS, eQIP, and PeopleSoft
-Knowledge of government security directives, including NISPOM, DCIDs or ICDs
-Knowledge of clearance processing, document control, physical security, including closed areas and SCIFs, automated information system security, and SATE
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree or 6+ years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree
-Completion of the DSS Academy FSO Course or CSSO training

Additional Qualifications:
-Ability to work in a team
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent organizational skills
