ServiceNow Administration Developer, Senior

Key Role:

Provide ServiceNow tool administration in support of the change management (CM) process and other organizational automation efforts. Collaborate with the CM team on requirements analysis to develop and implement new features or fixes and ServiceNow upgrades. Leverage technical expertise in ServiceNow to support integration efforts with other IS operational and security tools. Lead CMDB development and expand discovery and service mapping capabilities, including the development of higher level business class structures and initial service or application relationships, gathering of CMDB or mapping requirements of internal teams, set up and management of development and test environments, maintaining the CMDB structure, and successfully marketing the capabilities across the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with IT application systems administration or engineering and software change management, configuration management, and process improvement

-3+ years of experience with ITSM tool administration

-Experience with implementing CMDB in ServiceNow or other similar tool

-Knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery or other network discovery tools

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with ITIL, CMMI, or other process frameworks and the SDLC

-Knowledge of Windows, UNIX, or Linux systems, AWS and Cloud, SSO and directory services, and PKI

-Knowledge of Web markup, including HTML, HTML5, AngularJS, and CSS and scripting, including JavaScript, ServiceNow JavaScript API, Shell, and Python languages or frameworks

-Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments and use initiative to accomplish results

-Ability to gather, analyze, and communicate metrics

-Possession of excellent interpersonal and writing skills to interact effectively with staff at all levels

-ITIL Certification

-ServiceNow Administrator Certification or ServiceNow Scripting Certification
