SharePoint Developer, Mid

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft SharePoint-based applications and solutions. Work with clients, stakeholders, or the project manager to analyze business and enterprise requirements, including applying expertise in Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and 2013 product capabilities, customization, and development avenues. Work on a team to collaboratively execute software development life cycle activities, including scope and requirements definition, design, development, and deployment of SharePoint solutions. Work in accordance with approved life cycle methodologies for the creation, design, and application of SharePoint technology into custom solutions and create design documents. Perform interface modifications to SharePoint utilities and tools and support content migrations, workflow development, solution deployments, and process management. Leverage Microsoft SharePoint technologies and resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation based on experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with SharePoint 2010, 2013, and 2016 architecture, farm administration, and central administration

-Experience with developing functional requirements that can be implemented into either new or existing systems

-Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and complex workflow creation

-Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010, 2013, and 2016 development, including calculated form fields, lists, sub-sites, apps, custom themes, and authentication and permissions

-Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages, including JavaScript libraries or plug-ins, such as Angular.js, React.js jQuery, or dataTables.js

-Experience with HTML, CSS, SharePoint Branding, Composed looks, or Fabric UI

-Ability to manage the full life cycle and development of both converting custom applications to OOTB apps or building new OOTB apps

-Ability to design, deploy, and support solutions by translating functional requirements into robust, interesting, supportable, and sustainable sites

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working in Agile teams

-Experience with supporting the Department of Veterans' Affairs (VA) or Health and Human Services (HHS)

-Ability to learn new tools and technologies, balance multiple concurrent activities, and manage time efficiently

-Ability to work across teams and collaborate with a diverse staff of military, civilian, and contractors

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-Public Trust clearance

-BA or BS degree in a technical field, including CS, Engineering, or Science

-Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) Certification
