Staff Intelligence Planner

Key Role:

Serve as a staff intelligence planner to develop, organize, and manage intelligence concepts, operations, and contingency and operation plans at the Army Service Component Command (ASCC) and Major Command (MACOM) level. Develop intelligence-related planning documents, including CONOPS, operation orders, annexes, and appendices in support of USARPAC’s real-world operations, OPLANs and CONPLANs, and planned exercises and engagements. Employ expert knowledge of operational employment of multiple intelligence disciplines, including IMINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, and counterintelligence. Apply knowledge of collection through processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) for all-source analysis and dissemination methods. Provide technical advice and expertise in threat assessment, threat scenarios, courses of action, and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) requirements. Coordinate with theater, national, and DoD intelligence communities, key military, senior civilians, and other contractors to provide information, assessments, and facilitate achieving the intelligence products and services required to support the USARPAC mission.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience as an intelligence staff officer working at the Joint, MACOM and ASCC, or Corps or Theater Brigade level

-Experience with using Annex B intelligence and the creation of Intelligence Task List (ITLs)

-Knowledge of developing, reviewing, and coordinating Command Operational Plans (OPLANs) and Concept Plans (CONPLANs)

-Knowledge of Joint, Corps, and Theater Brigade ISR assets, capabilities, and their tasking and employment

-Knowledge of Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) processes and command post exercises (CPX) scenario design

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications

-Experience with intelligence related to the USPACOM area of operations

-Knowledge of Multi-Domain Battle and Cross-Domain Fires concepts

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with and brief senior military and civilians on intelligence and exercise topics

-Advanced Military Studies Program (AMSP) Graduate of the Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) preferred
