Strategic Communications Consultant, Senior

Key Role:

Support the management of the organization's day-to-day strategic communications or marketing, creative, editorial, and design work. Advise top management on the development of communications policies. Work on advertising programs and the management of public relations issues.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in the communications and outreach field, including strategic communications, marketing, and change management

-Experience in client service and interacting with all levels of management

-Experience with product or service marketing in shaping the pitch for agencies and developing pitch

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize competing tasks

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail for quality assurance, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requests

-Ability to interact successfully with hands-on government clients, including senior staff

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

-Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, including creating and modifying styles

-Ability to author client communications

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
