Strategy and Innovation Consultant, Senior

The Challenge:

Are you passionate about helping organizations understand and reach their goals? Do you live for that “ah-ha!” moment when your client realizes you just showed them how to transform their organization? Many organizations know where they want to go, but getting there can be a challenge. We’re looking for you: a strategy consultant who can identify an organization’s long term goals and show it how to achieve them.

This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the Air Force Warfighting Integration Capability (AFWIC). As a strategy consultant on our team, you’ll engage with clients at the Flag Officer and Senior Executive level to help them understand their organization and crystalize their goals. You’ll need to ask the right questions to draw out your client’s objectives and vision. Your client will look to you to show them their organization from the outside. From unrealized potential to systemic challenges, you’ll provide your client with a holistic view of their organization, as well as the multiple paths they can take to modernize and transform planning and programing processes. As the strategy expert, you’ll identify and anticipate your client’s needs as you create their way forward. Join us and lead change for the better in the AFWIC

Assist Air Force clients and other DoD organizations with determining long-term strategies, goals, and objectives and analyzing the development of action plans to support implementation. Leverage design thinking techniques to conduct alternative analyses, including future state planning scenarios and infusing innovative solutions into Air Force warfighter concepts, processes, and organizations. Leverage expertise in assisting Air Force leaders with driving core and adjacent innovation while helping to create a culture of innovation across the Air Force. 

You Have:

-10+ years of experience with identifying, developing, and applying innovative solutions in one of three defense innovation focus areas, including people and culture, technology and capabilities, and practices and operations

-Experience with analytical approaches to solve client business problems, including design thinking

-Knowledge of Air Force business processes, organizations, and policies 

-Ability to analyze the creation of new processes, methods, concepts, and capabilities

-TS/SCI clearance

-MA or MS degree

-Possession of excellent business analysis and problem solving skills

Clearance:
