Key Role:
Serve as a targeting analyst and maintain responsibility for conducting thorough analysis on traditional and non-traditional targets for purposes of creating electronic target folders for nation state and non-state actor systems within a Combatant Command's AOR. Perform all-source network analysis based on traditional models to identify targets and contribute to the production of Target System Analysis (TSA). Collaborate with collection managers in identifying collection shortfalls and developing collection requirements. Research and develop targets at basic- and intermediate-levels according to Joint standards, including facilities and individuals. Manage all target list types for senior leadership, conduct post-strike functional damage assessment, when necessary, and provide senior leadership with re-attack options. Use collections to improve target development standards, apply expertise in production, and expand the use of data efficiently.
Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience with fusion reporting in a professional or academic environment
-Experience with identifying, characterizing, and evaluating new targets
-Experience with Joint Targeting Cycle principles
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with the National Production Workshop (NPW) and Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB)
-Knowledge of GEOINT Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED)
-Knowledge of databases and software programs, including IC and government-related software and databases, M3, Google Earth, Firetruck, TAC, Palantir, and Crate
-Knowledge of Africa
-Graduate from the Joint Targeting School with completion in Staff, Applications, Collateral Damage Estimation, and Battle Damage Assessment courses
