Technical Briefings Coordinator

Key Role:

Provide technical project management and briefing support to senior-level DoD clients in the development of internal and external technical documents. Leverage a technical background to apply knowledge of complex technical research and development programs towards content development. Plan, interpret, and translate diverse technical ideas and issues in a clear and concise manner to convey office strategic mission. Work as part of a team to assist clients with managing strategic communications, including, program and project management, briefing material preparation, and programmatic assistance, such as attending and coordinating various briefings and engagements. Engage with senior leadership to develop technical and strategic messaging to internal and external partners. Act as a well-rounded, flexible scientist or technologist with the initiative to help the team succeed.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience in a professional work environment

-Experience with program or project management

-Ability to be part of a team with a national impact on science and technology development

-Ability to be a self-starter, take the lead, and provide support in a team role within a complex, fast-paced, and cross-disciplinary work environment

-Ability to be team-oriented and integrate easily into a team with diverse technical backgrounds and expertise

-Ability to organize, multi-task, and respond to quick turn-around requests

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the DoD a plus

-Experience with Microsoft Office

-Ability to be flexible and readily adaptable to change

-Ability to analyze, summarize, and communicate the intellectual content of scientific and technological information to both scientific and lay audiences quickly and effectively

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent motivation and creative thinking skills

-TS/SCI clearance preferred
