Technical Project Manager

Key Role:

Apply knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative analysis and recommendations to improve organizational performance through changes to strategy, organization structure, process, human capital or culture, information technology, enterprise cost reduction, management practices, and cost drivers. Make recommendations on how to capitalize on opportunities to improve client performance revenue or profitability and mission achievement. Advise on how to improve operations and increase process efficiency, provide recommendations on how to expand or reorganize a business unit or operation, and examine complex systems and advise on the development of specific cost reduction solutions and business case analyses to support transformation efforts. Mitigate and manage risk, conduct customer or stakeholder analyses, and serve as a practitioner with multiple areas of expertise that spans across management consulting pillars and other functional communities. Develop and maintain methodologies and processes pertaining to the management of portfolios, programs, and projects and the management of strategies as they mature over time. Support the management of the multiple IA contracts through financial or budget management activities, resource management activities, risk and issue management, task order execution oversight and interdependencies, stakeholder management, and progress tracking and reporting, schedule, and project controls.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience in program and project management support and overseeing large, complex programs, including project controls or scheduling, change management, risk management, strategic communications, and budget management

-Experience with planning, performance management, and business process improvement

-Experience with managing and overseeing diverse teams, including separate contractor teams

-BA or BS degree

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-MA or MS degree preferred
