Total Rewards People Strategy Specialist Lead

Key Role:

Work in a highly impactful role as a key member of Booz Allen's Corporate Total Rewards team, serve as a trusted advisor to executives, and operate at both a strategic and operational level to help to design, manage, and drive the Total Rewards agenda. Leverage functional comprehension of project management, strategic planning, and communications to support Total Rewards leadership and cross-functional team members. Ensure effective and efficient team operations by acting as a liaison between Total Rewards and internal and external key stakeholders establish and lead the appropriate cadence of meetings to push progress on the team’s strategic priorities. Serve as an extension of the Total Rewards Team by assisting with the design, development, and administration of key projects. Organize communications and change management initiatives with various integration groups. Act as the team’s spokesperson to gain consensus and buy in from leadership on key projects and programs, including designing and briefing presentations with senior leaders. Track and ensure adherence to the team’s operational budget and help foster integration between Total Rewards and the rest of the people strategy, including tying into Booz Allen's Employee Value Proposition and broader organizational efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with total rewards or HR

-7+ years of experience with project and program management, including working cross-functionally, tracking budgets, and following through with action items

-Experience in working directly with senior executives, including supporting their strategic and operational objectives

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

-Ability to tell a story through PowerPoint presentations at the senior executive level.

-Ability to interact effectively with all levels of senior leadership

-Ability to identify and bridge communication gaps between senior leaders and project teams

-Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively and simultaneously with follow-up to completion, as necessary

-Ability to demonstrate collaborative behavior, anticipate customer needs, and show flexibility to change

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with data analysis

-Ability to solve unusually complex problems 

-Ability to organize, prioritize, and implement multiple projects simultaneously

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentations briefed to senior leaders

-Possession of excellent analytical and strategic planning skills
