Unified Communications Support Technician

Key Role:

Join an innovative internal team to provide technical support, consulting, integration project management, telecommunications, and maintenance support for Booz Allen and client facilities. Leverage expertise and new technologies in the Unified Communications (UC) and IT fields, including VoIP, teleconferencing, VTC, and collaboration technology support. Collaborate with other Booz Allen organizations to provide technical support for the delivery of rich media and communications systems. Work with the help desk through the firm’s ticketing system to analyze and resolve client UC voice services issues. Partake in training opportunities to learn new expertise, maintain a high level of industry knowledge, and pass training on to others. Assist with occasional evening and weekend support

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with VoIP and SIP-based communications

-2+ years of experience in working with an enterprise ticketing system

-Knowledge of various telecommunications systems

-BA or BS degree in UC or Telecommunications or 3+ years of experience with supporting UC voice solutions

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to analyze technical data quickly and communicate with others to resolve issues

-Possession of excellent customer service skills

-CompTIA Security+ Certification

-Telecommunications Certifications
