Vice President, Contracts

Key Role:

Provide executive leadership for contract functions with a focus on end–to–end service throughout the opportunity and contract life cycle. Work on a wide range of complex strategic and programmatic matters and provide expert advice and counsel on contractual and procurement–related areas. Apply enterprise risk management solutions and mitigation strategies aligned with corporate objectives to optimize operational performance. Establish strategic plans on operational matters in collaboration with senior leaders across the business and ensure effective achievement of objectives. Facilitate the overall control of staff planning, budgeting, and managing expense priorities. Interact with executives, major clients, and acquisition officials regularly. Leverage experience with managing and leading contracting professionals and counseling clients on related buying patterns and regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

-20+ years of experience with leadership in contracts management, including overseeing large, complex proposals and negotiations

-Experience with leading large, geographically dispersed contracts organizations

-Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and the FAR, DFAR, and other US government procurement regulations
-Ability to display established relationships with senior acquisition and regulatory leaders

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications: (Preferred)

-Experience with international clients

-Possession of excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to lead a team to accomplish directed tasks and goals

-Possession of excellent executive–level oral and written communication skills

-Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-MA or MS degree

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
