Cyber Security Engineer

Key Role:

Apply advanced knowledge of conducting assessment of threats and vulnerabilities through testing and evaluation activities, including network penetration testing, Web application security testing, and conducting social engineering exercises. Conduct assessments, including determination of deviations from required and acceptable configurations, evaluation of the existing level of risk, recommendations for appropriate remediation measures, and evaluation of the residual risk after remediation. Provide leadership and mentoring for lower level employees. Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Work on unusually complex problems and provide solutions that are highly creative. Act as a leader on large programs or projects that affect the organization’s long-term goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

-15 years of experience in engineering, systems analysis, medical systems, information assurance, Web development, or engineering management, including technology analysis and assessment, design definition, development of systems specification, systems analysis, systems architecture, systems or equipment integration, test and evaluation criteria, and logistics support of C4ISR requirements

-Experience with IA concepts and requirements

-Knowledge of application and system assessments, planning A&A execution, and A&A management

-Secret clearance

-BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, or Computer Science

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with federal or DoD A&A programs

-Experience with eMass and ACAS

-CISSP or equivalent IAM or IAT Level 3 Certification


Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
