Accelerator Market Lead

Accelerator Market Lead

Plays a key role in the identification and development of internal talent to be aligned to firmwide opportunities. For each Group/Market, serve as the Accelerator deployment lead for the People Services Group/Market support team led by the Group People Lead and including Account-aligned HR Business Partners and the Recruiting Market Lead. Attend staffing meetings, leadership meetings, or other applicable meetings where demand/open roles and/or available staff are discussed. Serve as the main Accelerator point of contact for their respective Group/Market and Account(s) on Accelerator data and information including deployment (availability, absorption, affordability, placement-billable or internal, development/learn trends, and engagement).  Serve as the Market’s first line assistor to access broader resource management services, i.e. Contract Loss, New Hire experience planning, etc. and serve as subject matter expert on Accelerator services, firm deployment/resource management policies, and PS services. Ensure consistent application of Accelerator processes across Groups/Markets. This position is based out of the Washington Metro Area or a Booz Allen office and/or talent hub with 3 days minimum in Booz Allen office, Talent Center, and/or client site. Position requires travel between 25-50% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience in internal staffing/deployment, talent acquisition, or talent development with experience with working in the field of career mobility, either client-facing or in-house

-Experience with building trusted advisor relationships to inform and influence business decisions

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including, firm provisioned tools, such as MS Teams, Web/video conference, etc.

-Skilled communicator with employees at all levels of the organization and a track record of effectively building and growing relationships, with demonstrated ability to display strong proficiency in oral and written communications, including reports

-Demonstrated ability to translate trends and metrics into tangible staffing plans and outcomes

-Proven ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.

-Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of experience in internal staffing/deployment, talent acquisition, or talent development

Additional Qualifications

-Experience leading and developing high-performing teams

-Experience with designing and implementing internal career mobility best practices

-Track record of action orientation leading to measurable outcomes

-Internal knowledge of Booz Allen

-Consulting experience

-Internal knowledge of Booz Allen business development processes, systems, and reporting
