For each Group/Market, serve as the Accelerator deployment lead for the People Services Group/Market support team led by the Group People Lead and including Account-aligned HR Business Partners and the Recruiting Market Lead. Attend staffing meetings, leadership meetings, or other applicable meetings where demand/open roles and/or available staff are discussed.

Serve as the main Accelerator point of contact for their respective Group/Market and Account(s) on Accelerator data and information including deployment (availability, absorption, affordability, placement-billable or internal, development/learn trends, and engagement).  Serve as the Market’s first line assistor to access broader resource management services, i.e. Contract Loss, New Hire experience planning, etc.  Serve as subject matter expert on Accelerator services, firm deployment/resource management policies, and PS services. Ensure consistent application of Accelerator processes across Groups/Markets.

Develop a detailed comprehension of the Market and associated Account(s), its service offerings, leadership, staff skill sets, talent requirements, and market trends. Translate this comprehension into requirements (development, opportunities, placement, engagement) of the Accelerator program.  Develop and implement communications within Market/Accounts related to Accelerator.  Meet with Deployment Specialist Leads to identify Market-related issues, comprehend account staff availability, analyze utilization trends across accounts, and review demand and capacity planning for each Market.

In collaboration with other COEs, develop Accelerator strategies, lead and drive planning to address deployment trends/challenges (increased visibility of internal job opportunities, internal staff placement), development needs (training, certifications) and engagement needs (functional activities) specific to a Group/Market and associated Account(s).

Facilitate and lead the design of deployment initiatives (i.e., policy guidance updates, education/ awareness in concert with Group/ Market Team, clients and COE leadership.  Monitor and report on progress of deployment initiatives. Include key stakeholders (GPLs, HR BPs, Account POCs, Deployment Specialists) in sessions.

Ensure consistent application of Accelerator Market Lead processes, escalate issues to leadership for resolution, analyze overall Market facing function, strategize with senior leadership on how to overcome roadblocks to the execution of internal staff placement, and perform this across all functional areas.

Participate formally in strategic planning to define the overall Accelerator strategy, analyze performance to goals, and define initiatives for continuous improvement, collaborating with FSO-aligned Deployment Specialists to execute.

Lead sessions including GPLs, Talent Advisors, Accelerator Deployment Specialist Leads to fill open project roles by Market with available talent. With Accelerator Deployment Specialist Leads, summarize prioritized matches and deliver to hiring/job managers. Working with Accelerator Deployment Specialist Leads, maintain insight into placements, closed reqs.

This position is based out of the Washington Metro Area or a Booz Allen office and/or talent hub with 3 days minimum in Booz Allen office, Talent Center, and/or client site. Position requires travel between 25-50% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience in internal staffing/deployment, talent acquisition, or talent development

-Experience with working in the field of career mobility, either client-facing or in-house

-Experience with building trusted advisor relationships to inform and influence business decisions

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including, firm provisioned tools, such as MS Teams, Web/video conference, etc.

-Skilled communicator with employees at all levels of the organization and a track record of effectively building and growing relationships

-Demonstrated ability to translate trends and metrics into tangible staffing plans and outcomes

-Track record of meeting and/or exceeding hiring (internal deployments or external hires) targets

-Proven ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.

-Demonstrated ability to display strong proficiency in oral and written communications, including reports

-Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of experience in internal staffing/deployment, talent acquisition, or talent development

Additional Qualifications

-Experience leading and developing high-performing teams

-Experience with designing and implementing internal career mobility best practices

-Track record of action orientation leading to measurable outcomes

-Internal knowledge of Booz Allen is a plus

-Consulting experience is strongly preferred

-Internal knowledge of Booz Allen business development processes, systems, and reporting
