Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Key Role:

Serve as a key functional project member and leader on the firm's corporate accounts receivable (AR) team, supporting project set-up, invoicing, collections, and cash application processes and financial systems transformation enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation for the firm at its headquarters in Mclean, VA. Liaise with the AR team and participate in process reengineering and best practices for the firm, including providing updates and guidance to AR team members, business partners, and finance counterparts, coordinating taskings, priorities, and schedules, and providing input on requirements, design, testing, configuration and use of job costing systems. Apply expertise in AR and industry best-practices to the design and setup of direct projects, invoicing, cash collections, and reconciliations for the firm. Assist with evolving business needs and special projects, as requested,

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with AR, including project setup, invoicing, and cash collection

-Experience with Deltek Costpoint or JAMIS systems

-Knowledge of compliance with Sarbanes Oxley, including identifying and documenting key controls and processes, assisting with remediation activities, and supporting internal control testing

-Ability to handle details, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to be a team player who can also work independently and in a cross-functional environment

-BA or BS degree in Accounting or Finance

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with government contracting

-Experience with public accounting preferred

-Experience with reviewing financial reports

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal, problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
