Acquisition Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Lead Range and Network Systems Engineering and Integration (RN SE&I) pre-acquisition activities for the Launch and Test Range System (LTRS), Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN), and the Space Training Acquisition Office (STAO). Manage a team of acquisition analysts and project engineers across four geographies to ensure appropriate allocation of resources and expertise across a diverse set of government projects. Oversee the development of project level documentation as part of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including technical requirements documents, interface control documents, project architecture, and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs). Develop, implement, and continuously improve acquisition processes to document government needs, acquire goods and services, and strategize, develop, and document acquisition strategies for government projects. Assist with the management of the acquisition program baseline with the program management board and provide support to government technical evaluation teams and source selections. Leverage expertise to guide acquisitions with pre-acquisition milestones and maintain responsibility of enterprise level pre-acquisition schedule. Integrate and track spend plan priorities to ensure timely obligation of government funds and participate in government management teams to provide contracting and acquisition expertise.


Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with USAF acquisition processes

-Experience with integrating program management, technical, and contracting expertise

-Experience with managing cross functional and geographically separated teams

-Experience with DoD project management, acquisition, and sustainment

-Experience with implementing DoD 5000.2 processes

-Knowledge of FAR regulations and contracting processes

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working in the client site and virtual environments

-Experience with SharePoint

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Knowledge of space and missile systems center contracting and acquisition processes

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent client relationship and team leadership and development skills

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph preferred
