Acquisition Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Provide thought leadership and expertise in supporting the acquisition management of an Acquisition Category (ACAT) I Major Automated Information System (MAIS) program for a DoD Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Lead the development of acquisition documentation and other required reporting. Perform tasks of high visibility and work products to inform the most senior executives in the DoD chain of command. Work with DoD IT stakeholders to comprehend applicable policies and requirements. Coordinate with requiring government activities and contractor personnel to meet project milestones and minimize risk. Develop and implement the schedules and monitor those plans to manage resources and mitigate risk. Identify issues, develop recommendations for issue resolution, and escalate status updates to client leadership.


Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in project or program management of large, complex information systems projects requiring development, integration, implementation, and training, including Pre-Initial Operational Capability (IOC) activities

-3+ years of experience with directly supporting ACAT I MAIS programs 

-3+ years of experience with projects involving implementation and integration of a Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) IT solution

-Experience with developing and staffing acquisition documentation and producing client-ready deliverables

-Experience with the production of large documents using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

-Ability to lead a team, work in a team environment, and coordinate tasks with client supervisors

-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

-BA or BS degree and 14 years of experience with project management or MA or MS degreee

-PMP Certification


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Military Health System

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
