Acquisition and Logistician, Specialist

Key Role:

Provide client with acquisition logistics support for the acquisition, delivery, and follow-on support for mine counter, mine measure weapon systems. Provide recommendations for new and established product support packages with the objective of maintaining, including improving existing system operational effectiveness via documentation updates, various automated information system updates, briefs, acquisition drills, analysis and assessments. Develop and update various logistics documentation related to programmatic and fleet level, and planning support to develop a product support package for weapons systems entering operations and sustainment. Review and edit various logistics documents, including life cycle support plans (LCSP), logistics requirements and funding summary (LRFS), maintenance plans, and supply support plans, as provided to government by vendors. 

Basic Qualifications:

-7 years of experience in providing acquisition logistics support services, preferably to a Navy surface or air systems

-Knowledge of logistics databases, including CMPro, OARS, VAMOSC, Haystack, or OneTouch

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-DAWIA Level 2 or 3 Certification in acquisition logistics
