Acquisition and Sustainment Program Manager and Solution Architect

Key Role:
Provide program management and support technical analysis integration of program management aspects, including engineering, procurement, financial management, configuration management, logistics management, and sustainment planning. Leverage expertise in integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning to technical and acquisition efforts across several functional disciplines. Support the acquisition program management of full life cycle requirements, subsystems, and equipment from identification, documentation, and implementation through sustainment. Evaluate program and mission requirements, integrate these activities with other projects, programs, and functional elements within the program office, and provide recommendations to ensure project information integrates into the existing program strategy. Analyze the implementation of plans by preparing and reviewing program documents, including acquisition plans, development and production schedules, engineering change proposals, and design studies. Maintain responsibility for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of projects from inception to completion to sustainment.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with acquisitions

-Experience with Air Force defense acquisition management processes

-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree or 10+ years of experience with Air Force defense acquisition management processes

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with commercial procurement practices, including the performance-based business environment (PBBE), evolutionary acquisition, and Agile acquisition

-Experience with conflict resolution, problem solving, multi-tasking, and critical and creative thinking

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, including working as a part of an integrated team of both government and contractor personnel

-TS/SCI clearance a plus

-PMP or Level II DAWIA Certification

-DAU Program Management Level II or III Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
