Acquisition and Sustainment Program Manager/Solution Architect

Key Role:
Provide program management and support technical analysis integration of program management aspects, including engineering, procurement, financial management, configuration management, logistics management, and sustainment planning. Apply expertise in integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning to technical and acquisition efforts across a number of functional disciplines. Support the acquisition program management of full life cycle requirements, subsystems, and equipment from identification, documentation, and implementation through sustainment. Evaluate program and mission requirements, integrate these activities with other projects, programs, and functional elements within the program office, and provide recommendations to ensure project information integrates into the existing program strategy. Implement plans by preparing and reviewing program documents, including acquisition plans, development and production schedules, engineering change proposals, and design studies. Maintain responsibility for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of projects from inception to completion to sustainment.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with acquisitions

-4 years of experience with supporting a major weapon system's program office

-Experience with defense acquisition management processes, including Air Force policies, processes, and procedures and DoD 5000.02 and AFI 63-101 policies, processes and procedures

-Experience with the DoD contracting process, including the solicitation of proposals, contract and agreement awards, and contract and agreement management

-Experience with the execution, including cost, schedule, performance, and risk of a technical program and coordinating the efforts of engineers, logisticians, financial managers, and contracting officers
-Experience with analyzing budget formulation and execution, including analysis of spend plan development across multiple budget lines

-Experience with scheduling and assessing integrated master plans and schedules

-Ability to interact with senior leaders, conduct analyses, identify discrepancies, and provide corrective action plans

-Secret clearance
-AA or AS degree and 10+ years of experience with acquisition or technical project management or BA or BS degree in Management or Engineering

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with commercial procurement practices, including the performance- based business environment (PBBE), evolutionary acquisition, and Agile acquisition

-Experience with conflict resolution, problem solving, multi-tasking, and critical and creative thinking

 -Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, including working as a part of an integrated team of both government and contractor personnel

-TS/SCI clearance a plus

-PMP or Level II DAWIA Certification

-DAU Program Management Level II or III Certification
