Acquisition Program Manager

Key Role:

Provide defense acquisition life cycle subject matter expertise for a variety of program offices located at Tinker Air Force Base. Perform program planning and execution activities, including analysis and recommendations regarding acquisition strategy, acquisition program baseline, and program schedules. Research and develop acquisition documentation in accordance with DoDI 5000.02 and other applicable Air Force instructions, as required. Assist with program team organization, coordination, communication, and other agency tasker responses.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with project management

-3 years of experience with acquisitions in the DoD

-Knowledge of federal acquisitions, acquisition planning cycle, conducting market research, determining competitive market sources, DoD or Air Force specific spectrum regulatory processes, and defense programs

-Knowledge of systems security, including program protection, supply chain risk management, and Cybersecurity and product support requirements

-Knowledge of military aircraft communication, navigation, identification, and surveillance systems

-Knowledge of Net Ready Key Performance Parameters and Cybersecurity as it relates to aircraft information technology systems

-Ability to work with clients that are planning acquisitions and need support in streamlining processes to achieve deadlines and milestones

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with developing and presenting complex information to senior government officials using Microsoft Office applications

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, team leadership, development, and client relationship skills

-Top Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree

-PMP Certification or Acquisition Profession Development Program Certification equivalent preferred
