Acquisition Program Planner

Key Role:

Work with Booz Allen colleagues and government clients from various DoD and other government agencies to architect and plan next generation space and ground C4ISR system acquisition programs.  Help develop the next generation Global Positioning System (GPS) across a large stakeholder community and manage technical projects, including performance, cost, schedule, and risk.  Be a key member of the GPS engineering office supporting the acquisition and systems engineering process to support the Space Enterprise Vision (SEV). Lead and manage portions of the systems engineering and acquisition management process for DoD acquisitions. Develop acquisition strategies and plans, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and technical evaluations.  Prepare, process and review required acquisition documentation to ensure compliance with established processes and policies and meet program deadlines for milestone reviews.  Provide technical support to key milestones, technical boards, test events, and design reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in DoD acquisition planning, program management, and business operations

-5+ years of experience in systems engineering of next generation technology

-Experience with project management and strong leadership skills

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

-Ability to interact well in cross-functional team meetings and professional environments

-Ability to interface with internal and external customers

-Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

-TS/SCI Clearance
