Acquisition Program Planner

Key Role: 
Work with Booz Allen colleagues and government clients from various DoD and other government agencies to plan, analyze, architect, engineer, integrate, test, and deploy large-scale space and ground C4ISR systems. Advise senior Air Force officers and executives on program acquisition strategies, plans, and decisions. Analyze and implement strategic plans and management processes. Analyze and report on performance against strategic goals and objectives and advise on strategic decisions. Review and provide guidance on strategic initiatives and transition functions to appropriate groups. This position is located in Los Angeles, CA.

Basic Qualifications: 
-7+ years of experience with DoD program management and systems engineering
-Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 

-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in Engineering or Business Management

Additional Qualifications: 
-Experience with military C4ISR systems
-Experience with the DoD acquisition system 
-Experience with GPS and navigation technologies and systems 
-Experience with developing acquisition strategies, program plans, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and technical evaluations

-Ability to understand cost, schedule, risk, EVM, technical performance measures, technical specifications, and test reports from multiple contractors

-Ability to understand government contracts and reporting systems to extract data and analyze future performance trends

-Ability to interface with internal and external customers
-Possession of excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
-MS degree preferred

-DAWIA Level II Program Manager Certification or Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level II Certification
