Active Directory Systems Administrator

Key Role: 
Support system administration for an Active Directory environment. Maintain responsibility for operating, maintaining, and sustaining active directory servers. Provide operations and maintenance support for multiple active directory domains and multiple networks. Provide rights management and delegation support and patching support for active directory servers in Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 environment.  
Basic Qualifications: 

-3+ years of experience with server or desktop administration and basic system troubleshooting expertise

-1+ years of experience with administering Active Directory Domain services in a Windows Server 2008/2012R2 environment

-Knowledge of Active Directory concepts and configuration, including security groups, rights managements, delegation, OU structure, object types, and attributes

-Ability to troubleshoot directory replication, DNS, Group Policy Management, and Distributed File Systems (DFS)

-Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

-HS diploma or GED and 8 years of experience with IT, AA or AS degree and 6 years of experience with IT, BA or BS degree and 4 years of experience with IT, or MA or MS degree and 2 years of experience with IT

-DoD 8570 Type II Certification, including Security+, CASP, CISSP, or CISM or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire

Additional Qualifications: 

-Experience with Dell or Quest products, including Change Auditor, Active Roles Server (ARS), Total Privilege Access Management (TPAM) and Recovery Manager for Active Directory

-Experience with Windows Certificate Authority preferred

-Knowledge of basic Microsoft PowerShell scripting, DoD PKI certificate authentication, and Kerberos authentication

-Ability to provide after-hours, on-call support as a member of a larger team 

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills 

-Possession of excellent team collaboration skills 

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
