Administrative Assistant

Key Role:

Work with intuitive judgment and knowledge, including the ability to relieve teams of administrative details, such as supplying requested information, scheduling appointments, preparing special reports, and obtaining information from sources within or outside of the company. Use technical and business vocabulary continuously and apply detailed knowledge of team operations, organizational procedures, and personnel. Collect and prepare information for use in discussions or meetings, including external individuals, such as customers and stakeholders. Initiate and follow up on high level contacts of a complex nature inside and outside of the agency and develop, draft, write, and edit reports, briefs, proposals, and other documents in support of the government’s requirements. Interface with personnel to coordinate meetings, maintain logs, records, and files, provide end-user support, and perform general administrative duties. Produce information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics. Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with providing administrative support to project teams

-Experience with word processing and Microsoft Office applications

-Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

-Ability to schedule and coordinate meetings and schedules for executives and facilities

-Ability to assist with the preparation of presentations

-Active Top Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED
