Advanced Payment Model Compliance Lead

Key Role:
Work as an advanced payment model compliance lead, including applying advanced comprehension of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) advanced payment models (APMs) and project management to support regulatory compliance work regarding APMs. Lead various audit, oversight, and monitoring projects for relevant APMs, including program analysis and performance and reporting reviews. Plan and manage all aspects of various projects, including resource planning, budget management analysis, and program management. Lead and build a team of excellent support staff, delegate assignments to task leads, instruct and monitor progress, and review work products for completeness and accuracy. Manage client relationships and communicate results and work products, as appropriate. Lead business development initiatives and administrative functions, including capturing new work, leading proposals, developing staff, and recruiting.

Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with a focus on healthcare management or healthcare audits and compliance
-Ability to manage assignments and organize tasks logically
-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, including providing a writing sample required
-Ability to learn new areas of expertise and pay strict attention to detail
-Ability to conduct research, synthesize information, and present findings or recommendations
-Ability to work successfully both individually or in collaboration with others
-Ability to manage processes and other consultants
-Ability to work in a team environment

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in working with healthcare organizations, federal officials, states, and other relevant stakeholders on payment models
-Ability to leverage subject matter expertise in various Centers for Medicare or Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) payment models
-Ability to show a proven track record of successful project management
-BA or BS degree in Healthcare Policy or Business Administration preferred; JD, MA, or MS degree in Healthcare Policy or Business administration a plus
