Electrical Engineer

Key Role:

Design, develop, modify, and evaluate complicated and difficult hardware devices or systems. Maintain technical responsibility for planning and conducting technical process or phases of projects and coordinate the efforts of technical support personnel, drafters, technical writers, and electronics technicians, as needed. Develop and recommend design approaches to new or improved products or processes. Consolidate the results of hardware design elements for assigned projects. Conduct independent technical investigations involving the origination or modification of material, component, or process specifications and requirements. Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) sensors and motion imagery

-Experience with equipment power and control systems

-Experience with computer systems and networking, MATLAB, Python, C#, IDL, and other data visualization and high-level programming languages to facilitate analysis

-Experience with commercial and military drawings and standards used to define parts, processes, drawings, and other activities regarding DoD engineering and operations

-Experience with 2-D and 3-D drafting software
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with SolidWorks and Creo

-Experience with systems engineering incorporating RF, digital signal processing, estimation theory, or structured system engineering practices
-Experience with GPS or RF receiver anti-jam techniques

-Ability to work in a team environment

-MS degree in CS, EE, or a related field
