Agile Coach, Senior

Key Role:

Link the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organization to its IT strategy and document this using multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of an organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner. Apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. Analyze the development of new principles and concepts, work on unusually complex technical problems, and provide innovative solutions. Work towards predetermined long-range goals and objectives under consultative direction, including self-initiated assignments. Determine and pursue the courses of action necessary to obtain desired results and complete work that is checked through consultation and agreement with others. Develop advanced technological ideas and guide their development into a final product. Serve as an organization spokesperson on advanced projects or programs and act as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with coaching agile teams in scaled agile organizations

-3 years of experience with using agile work teams and collaboration tools, including Confluence and JIRA

-2 years of experience with coaching teams in scaled agile implementation

-Knowledge of agile practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and XP

-Knowledge of agile scaling frameworks, including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Scrum of Scrums

-Ability to develop agile implementation strategies and guide organizations in transition from traditional management practices to agile management practices

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree

-Agile Scrum Master, Product Owner, or SAFe Certification


Additional Qualifications:

-5 years of experience in DoD acquisition organizations

-3 years of experience with implementing Agile practices in a DoD or other government organization

-Experience with using agile practices for services other than software development

-Knowledge of multiple development practices

-Knowledge of multiple agile scaling frameworks

-Ability to coach agile teams in a scaled agile framework

-Ability to coach teams of agile teams in a scaled agile framework

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree in a technical or business field preferred; MA or MS degree in a technical or business field a plus

-Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Program Consultant Certification or equivalent

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
