Agile Product Manager

Key Role:

Join a dynamic team as an Agile product manager to help continuously define, prioritize, and validate requirements for multiple Agile or incremental delivery teams at the program level. Help partner with the customer and be the internal voice for the customer and the voice of the development teams to the customer. Act as a go-between for the client, Scrum teams, and users to support the transition to a Web-based application. Empower business counterparts as they move from Waterfall to Agile and help define the Agile requirements process. Work with senior government executives to support a diverse set of priorities, including providing analytical support to analyze the development of new initiatives and plans to improve user experiences to drive value. Define what should be built through the development of features and user stories, including non-functional requirements and establishing a program backlog. Prioritize the backlog continually, including working with Scrum teams to allocate the program features and ensure alignment to the release vision. 


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with analyzing the requirements process for large projects or programs

-3+ years of experience in a project manager or team lead role

-2+ years of experience with an Agile program or project as an analyst, Scrum Master, or product owner

-Experience with Agile practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe

-Ability to learn and apply new concepts, including a history of self-teaching and learning through doing
-Ability to leverage business acumen

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with distributed teams

-Experience with development systems or platform environments, including activity and service models and security and performance architectures

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

-MA or MS degree in CS or a related technology field

-Active Public Trust clearance

-PMI-PMP Certification

-Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), or ITIL Certification
