Agile Release Train Scheduler

Key Role:

Support the chief engineer's coordination of Agile Release Trains, including resourcing and dependency identification. Provide input to the program scheduler for weekly status reports and provide input on the program schedule for monthly status reports, including major tasks, milestones, and deliverables and planned, actual, and completion dates for each. Maintain responsibility for analyzing all components of a project’s schedule from the design phase through implementation. Interpret project requirements and convert them to a work breakdown structure (WBS) using Microsoft Excel and Project. Identify and communicate project scope and ensure program milestones and objectives are met. Ensure effective communication between technical and non-technical functions. Coordinate the development of project status reports that are generated from the project’s schedules. Keep management informed of key issues and changes that may impact expected business results.


Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with Agile development and the Agile Release Train construct

-Experience with Microsoft Project and Excel
-Ability to lead and facilitate conversations with technical and non-technical clients to develop a project's WBS accurately
-Ability to translate a well-defined WBS into a project schedule that captures how an entire project scope results in well-defined project activities accurately using Microsoft Project

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree in Engineering, Physical Science, Mathematics, MIS, or Business and 12+ years of experience with scheduling


Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the intelligence community (IC)

-PMP Certification
