Air Combat Modeling and Simulation Analyst

Key Role:

Work with a team of analysts to perform classified analyses of future weapon and platform concepts for DoD clients using analysis tools at the engagement and mission levels, including Brawler and Suppressor. Evaluate engagement-level performance of aircraft maneuvers, air-to-air weapons, and countermeasures by using DoD air-to-air combat models. Simulate air-to-air combat between multiple flights of aircraft. Simulate aircraft aeronautics and controls, including modeling pilot mental model decisions to realistically simulate combat scenarios.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with modeling and simulation

-Experience with computer analysis tools

-Experience with computer coding in MATLAB

-Knowledge of aircraft flight, including controls theory and air vehicle performance metrics

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED
