Hardware Engineer

Key Role:

Provide hardware systems test and engineering support to the 4.11.7 Air Traffic Control Systems Division in support of PMA-213 Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCLS) programs. Support products at all phases of the acquisition life cycle. Support functional areas, including requirements definition, system development, system integration, system test, and operational support of ATCLS products. Maintain responsibility for designing, integrating, configuring, and testing electronic or computer-based hardware, including computer systems, circuit boards, communication circuits, displays, keyboards, switches, and network recorders. Maintain responsibility for writing requirements, test plans, and configuration documentation for the Air Traffic Control processing and display.


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with military systems and engineering processes

-Experience with hardware or software integration

-Experience with system and component test planning and execution

-Knowledge of MIL-STD-1553 protocol

-Knowledge of TCP and UDP, including unicast and multicast, Internet protocol

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Vitech CORE systems engineering application

-Experience with US Navy operations with ATCLS or other shipboard-based systems

-Experience with systems engineering and requirements development and tools

-Experience with NAVAIR programs and the NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process

-Experience with working in the NAVAIR environment

-Experience with software development using C++

-Secret clearance

-MS degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering
