Aircraft Readiness Analyst

Key Role:

Analyze sustainment and logistics business or operating procedures that may affect the production, operations, maintenance, sustainment, and available inventory of finished products. Plan the study of work problems and procedures, gather and analyze data, organize and document findings of studies, and prepare recommendations for implementing new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. Collate information into meaningful reports and presentation material. Develop monthly metrics data, review, and analysis geared toward improving business processes. Perform data management of database tables, data elements, reports, and other entities contained in reporting systems. Analyze project requirements, including program scheduling, critical path analyses, and project support and resource requirement determination. Participate in impact studies, cost or benefit analyses, and dependency models and employ appropriate project tracking methodologies.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience as an analyst in systems engineering processes, logistics and industrial repair processes, and supply chain management

-Experience with database extraction and the use of various IT software programs to compile, organize, and synthesize data into information and develop action recommendations based on that analysis

-Experience with using Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, or Word

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED and 8 years of experience with performing the aviation readiness, sustainment, or supply functions, AA or AS degree and 4 years of experience with performing the aviation readiness, sustainment, or supply functions, or BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of one or more of the following: DECKPLATE, AMSRR, NMDMS, and other naval aviation sustainment data systems

-Ability to evaluate and solve conventional and complex problems pertaining to the logistics and industrial maintenance and supply readiness of naval aviation weapon systems

-Ability to apply modeling techniques and procedures, develop mathematical algorithms, and analyze data using probability statistics and trend analysis

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
