Airfield Management and Operations Assessor

Key Role:

Participate in the identification, analysis, and evaluation of policies, processes, systems, or instrumentation regarding foreign threats or homeland security. Perform scientific or technical intelligence analysis. Report changes, trends, and implications regarding the design and integration of evolving systems and instrumentation. Solve complex information requirements problems via a combination of analytic judgment and proven analytic practices. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodologies and results. This position requires the ability to travel.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience in coordinating with aircrews, air traffic control, and various agencies that provide for safe operation of aircraft in the airfield environment and through national and international airspace

-Experience with conducting airfield inspections and checks, including runways, taxiways, aprons, pavements, arresting systems, signs, lights, and airfield clearance areas

-Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

-Experience with a wide range of computer, briefing, and writing work, including presenting applications developed in a logical manner during executive-level briefings

-Knowledge of Aviation Operations Specialist, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), or International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) equivalent airport management and safety certifications at a military or civil airport

-Ability to travel to the client's AOR up to 50% of the time
-Active Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree and 8+ years of experience with airfield operations and management

Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of emerging unmanned aerial system threat tactics, the groups supporting and conducting them, and counter-unmanned aerial system mitigation efforts
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Active TS/SCI clearance

-DoD Anti-Threat Office Level II Certification

-Completion of DTRA Mission Assurance Assessment Assessor's Course
