Architect, Lead

Key Role:

Provide expertise in architecture and MBSE subject matter, integrate an existing Magic Draw-based system design into an architectural tool, analyze and manage processes and procedures to integrate team developed work into MBSE environment, and provide informal instruction to the team on MBSE for an architectural tool. Concentrate on system definition, design, and maturation while making use of the systems engineering specialties to develop satisfactory and feasible system concepts certified for client use while establishing the structure of the system through decomposition, integration of existing work, and the use of tools. Provide the vision for how the system should evolve over time, conduct trades studies to identify and compare alternative design solutions, develop expertise in consulting and delivering high-quality work products to support projects, and guide the activities of others on a set of defined tasks, as needed. Work on assignments that offer ever-increasing levels of responsibility and client interaction while deepening expertise. Prioritize deliverables and work independently with little guidance. Offer solutions and new ideas and identify opportunities to grow existing business or support firm wide initiatives. Interact regularly with clients and present work products to clients, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
-3 years of experience with architecture or MBSE development
-2 years of experience with using an architectural tool

-Ability to operate in a fast-paced collaborative environment

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with using Magic Draw

-Experience with architectural tools at an expert level

-Experience with integrating existing architectural data into a new tool

-Experience with writing clear and compelling technical material for a variety of audiences

-Experience in a DoD or Air Force environment

-Ability to develop and implement an architectural data integration process for a team

-Secret clearance
