Audit Readiness Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Provide business transformation and risk mitigation services to support the advancement of the DoD Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) program, focusing on the business processes, internal controls, and systems related to the Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) business segment. Serve as a MILSTRIP subject matter expert, assist with efforts to standardize and strengthen applicable processes and controls, and ensure affected stakeholders to possess the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities to carry out job functions. Process and control documentation, perform gap and risks analyses, evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and completeness and accuracy of amounts recorded to the general ledger, and implement corrective actions to mitigate process and control deficiencies in support of obtaining an unqualified audit opinion. This position may require the ability to travel and is located in San Diego, CA.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with providing logistics and inventory or supply management support within the DoD 
-5+ years of experience with MILSTRIP within the Department of Navy

-Experience with auditing as a member of the supply or financial management assistance team or supply or financial management certification team

-Experience with Navy supply processes, systems, and programs, including the government purchase card program, SFOEDL, UOLs, annual price changes, monthly change notices, stock control, and the food service management system 

-Knowledge of RSupply
-Ability to interpret Cumulative Transaction Ledge (CTL) transactions, standing of RSupply database tables, and write RSupply ad hoc queries 
-Ability to obtain a security clearance 

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley or OMB Circular A-123, Appendix A compliance
-Experience with financial statement and internal control audit 
-Experience with risk assessments and gap analyses 
-Experience in business process documentation and improvement 
-Experience with Microsoft Office suite 

-Experience in a DoD environment

-Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access
