Automated Tester, Mid

The Challenge:

Are you interested in helping build a system that will transform a government agency while taking your excellent testing skills and putting them to use in support of our nation’s aviation department? Booz Allen is seeking a detail and team-oriented tester for a large federal system that supports our client’s mission of ensuring the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) provides the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world. As an automated tester, you can help solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, agile environment. We’re looking for a tester with the skills needed to test a legacy enterprise system undergoing modernization and transformation from vision to a production-ready system.

The person we are looking for will have the necessary experience to use appropriate test tools and methodologies to execute functional, integration, regression, and data verification tests. You will perform detailed test designs using sound software test engineering principles in the context of test automation platforms and integration across distributed systems. Perform the tasks required for automated test implementation, including reviewing acceptance criteria and creating integration, regression test scenarios and test cases. In this role, you will support the preparation of test strategy, test data, test scripts, and test execution for new feature development as well as enhancements and bug fixes for O&M releases. You will support the test lead with the development of estimates for testing efforts and in prioritization of test activities. Execute and verify positive and negative test cases and document test results, including comparisons between source and target data and support user acceptance testing. Support the review of test reports, user story and acceptance criteria, and related system documents and work products.

Empower change with us.
