Automation Lead

Key Role:

Leverage expertise in monitoring, analyzing, detecting, and responding to Cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks. Contribute to an integrated, dynamic Cyber defense and leverage Cybersecurity solutions to deliver Cybersecurity operational services, including intrusion detection and prevention and situational awareness of network intrusions, security events, data spillage, and incident response actions. Develop and implement the infrastructure hardware and software to manage the organization’s Cybersecurity operational services effectively.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with API development and use, including program language and automation using PowerShell and Shell scripting

-Experience with the design, development, and testing of systems and devices

-Experience with hardening Windows servers, Linux servers, and VMware using Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)

-Experience with FISMA compliance and reporting requirements, vulnerability detection and remediation, and system audits

-Ability to work independently and in a team

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree and 4+ years of experience with Cyber events

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements to improve reliability and performance

-Experience with leading a team and providing briefing and presentation to stakeholders

-Ability to evaluate existing security and compliance plans, policies, and procedures

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate technical information to a non–technical audience

-Possession of excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

-Public Trust clearance

-CompTIA Security+ CE (Sec+ CE), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM),

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or SANS GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) Certification
