Aviation Maintenance Scheduling Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Apply knowledge of reviews, advise on improvement in maintenance and modernization policy, process, and procedures, employ analytic methods and studies to plan and execute maintenance requirements, both scheduled and unscheduled, to systems and equipment at optimal balance of cost, schedule, and quality. Maintain responsibility for ensuring integration of program requirements, fleet requirements and IT systems requirements. Analyze current aircraft maintenance scheduling and methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness through alternative maintenance scheduling approaches. Assess IT capabilities that can provide improved maintenance scheduling capabilities and track technical integration and schedule for implementation and assessment of new maintenance scheduling approaches. Assist with the integration of maintenance scheduling changes with integrated business process flows, conditioned based maintenance, reliability centered maintenance, and supply chain management across all three levels of maintenance, to fully capitalize on the opportunity to precisely manage the maintenance requirements. Assist with the development of requirements for IT solutions to support the developing maintenance scheduling approaches. 


Basic Qualifications:

-15+ years of experience with Naval aviation maintenance

-Experience with all three levels of Naval aviation maintenance

-Knowledge of business process improvement techniques

-Knowledge of task analysis, organizational effectiveness, and efficiency metrics

-Ability to facilitate discussions and process reviews

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree and 5 years of experience with Naval aviation maintenance


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as a Navy or Marine Corps veteran

-Experience with maintenance control and maintenance planning

-Experience with coordinating O, I, and D level maintenance and scheduled and unscheduled maintenance

-Experience with Logistics IT systems requirements development

-Knowledge of the Aviation Logistics Environment (ALE)

-Ability to develop and measure key metrics of organizational efficiency and effectiveness

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in a Mathematics, Science, or Engineering field

-Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
