Key Role:
Perform more complex engineering support assignments. Construct and build devices and simple equipment. Construct developmental and production models by following layouts and diagrams. Conduct tests and experiments that require non-standard setups and procedures. Extract and compile data from field notes, technical manuals, lab reports, and bench tests. Develop information about operational failures and modifications. Select methods of data presentation and prepare reports, including schematics and drawings.
Basic Qualifications:
-6 years of experience with performing aircraft maintenance tasks as either an aircraft electrician or avionics specialist on F‑15C or F‑15E aircraft in their most modern configurations, including with the APG‑63(V)3 or APG‑82(V)1 radars
-Ability to perform on-aircraft physical tasks associated with F‑15 aircraft maintenance
-Ability to work flexible shifts, when needed and travel CONUS or OCONUS for up to 20% of the time
-Secret clearance
-AA or AS degree or military "A" or "B" School or equivalent civilian technical training and 2+ years of experience as an engineering technician
Clearance:
