Ballistic Missile Engineer

Key Role:

Serve as a mid-level engineer with expertise in ballistic missile modeling. Leverage the use of different tools and methods for building models and knowledge of the information needed for their development. Apply expertise in reviewing CAD and data types associated with ballistic missile modeling, including trajectories, RCS signatures, and IR hardbody signatures. Lead discussions and organize and manage the engineering cell. Leverage knowledge of the information required for threat modeling and facilitate coordination with the intelligence community for necessary foreign threat data that supports engineering efforts for threat development, testing, and modeling and simulations. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with reviewing CAD

-Experience with MATLAB and Simulink

-Experience with Impulse and Omega

-Knowledge of modeling missile ballistic missile systems and associated data types, including trajectory, RF, and IR

-TS/SCI clearance required

-BS degree in Aeronautics, Aeronautical Engineering, CS, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering and 15 years of experience with researching, designing, and developing structures, propulsion units, and guidance and control subsystems for aircraft, missiles, or spacecraft or MS degree and 10 years of experience with researching, designing, and developing structures, propulsion units, and guidance and control subsystems for aircraft, missiles, or spacecraft

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with intelligence analysis

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree in Aerospace Engineering


Clearance:
