Battlefield Airmen IQT Lead

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for all aspects of the execution of the Battlefield Airmen Instructor Qualification Training (IQT) project from curriculum development to course validation to instructor management. Develop a partnership with the Air Force, training syllabi, including plans of instruction, lesson plans, handbooks, instructor guides, multimedia training aides, and presentations for all Battlefield Airmen IQT courses. Collaborate with the contract official representative (COR) on content formatting and specific delivery restrictions to ensure a government-approved curriculum and course material are delivered to assigned BA personnel. Maintain responsibility for all supporting activities to meet training requirements, assist BA training leadership team to plan, execute, and validate curriculum efficiency and effectiveness IAW AF Instructional Systems Development ISD Model, apply the technical expertise and advice in the development, design, update, and sustainment of BA instructor curriculum courseware and other deliverables, maintain situational awareness on expanding best practices and concepts for developing specialized ground combatant instructors as defined by BA leadership, organize, collect, analyze, and present statistical information related to curriculum effectiveness, and ensure support course data administration management is provided and Student Transcript, Administration, and Record System - Faculty Database (STARS-FD), Technical Training Management System (TTMS), and any other BA-specific database appropriate to performance and trend analysis are maintained. This position is located in San Antonio, TX.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience as a Battlefield Airman or special operator with similar competencies in USA Special Forces, USN SEAL, USN Special Boat Operator, or USMC MARSOC

-3+ years of experience as an instructor or instructor supervisor in the special operations community

-Experience as a BA or SOF operator required

-Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and the AETC Technical Training Management System (TTMS)

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree​

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to demonstrate performance objectives IAW course training standards for assigned courses

-Ability to demonstrate the expert application of known objectives IAW course training standards for assigned courses

-Ability to deliver an effective presentation on an assigned course

-Ability to perform and demonstrate field scenarios and group events
