BigFix Engineer

Key Role:

Work with a highly skilled team focused on implementing and operating next generation security solutions for government and commercial clients. Perform hands-on evaluation, implementation, and operation of leading security Cyber defense tools and technologies, apply in-depth defense strategies in large and complex networks to rapidly identify vulnerabilities and threats, prioritize response actions, and develop effective counter-measures. Apply thought leadership in a highly collaborative and innovative work environment to solve complex security challenges.


Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with IT in a professional work environment

-3+ years of experience with designing, implementing, configuring, and operating CDM tools

-2+ years of experience with performing systems administration in Windows, Linux, or VMware environments, including basic troubleshooting, installation, or configuration, monitoring system performance or availability, and performing security upgrades

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience in performing software assurance, management, or configuration with security tools, including IBM BigFix or Microsoft SCCM or SCOM, and customized capabilities -3+ years of experience with security tool administration or OS and application hardening, including STIG implementation may be substituted if no background in software assurance, management, or configuration

-Experience with BigFix compliance and inventory

-Experience with integrating Cybersecurity data using enterprise or custom tools data aggregation and analysis tools, including Splunk

-Experience with configuration management of operating system and applications of popular security benchmarks published by DoD STIG, USGCB, and FDCC

-Experience with designing, implementing, configuring, and operating information security continuous monitoring tools

-Experience in monitoring and defending attacks with security technologies, advanced anti-malware solutions, network forensics, and visibility solutions

-Knowledge of federal information security policies, standards, procedures, directives, frameworks, federal security authorizations, assessment, and risk management processes for enterprise systems

-Ability to provide support in an IT operations and maintenance Tier II role, including ticket work information updates, issue response, and remediation
