Biometrics Research Scientist/Engineer

Key Role:

Provide Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to the Government Program Manager (PM). Provide technical support and apply expertise in biometric recognition, including face, finger, and iris and biometric presentation attack detection technologies. Provide analysis of performer technical deliverables and publications. Conduct an independent review and summary of technical literature and emerging technologies and survey and summarize relevant community research continuously. Assist with coordination among potential mission and transition partners. Assist with developing test and evaluation plans and assess performer work using established protocols.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience in one or more technical areas: Biometric Presentation Attack, Biometric Recognition, Biometrics, Image Processing, Sensor Development, or Machine Learning

-2 years of experience in the intelligence community, including requirements, CONOPS, and transition

-Experience with managing a multi–agency, multi–disciplinary test and evaluation team
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) process preferred

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree in CS, Physics, Mathematics, or engineering fields preferred;

MS or PhD degree in CS, Physics, Mathematics, or relevant engineering fields a plus
