Biometrics Trainer

Key Role:

Serve as an improvised threat trainer with focus on biometrics modules and support to USARPAC identity activities program. Maintain responsibility for tactical level training on the biometrics process involving collecting, matching, storing, analyzing, and sharing of biometric data and provide fundamental tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) for planning, integrating, and employing biometric collection capabilities at the tactical level in support of operations with enablers, such as the Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT) and Secure Electronic Enrollment Kit II (SEEK II). Provide support to IED and small UAS integration into collective exercises for exploitation. Support classroom and field C-IED training. Assist with inputs to Theater Security Cooperation Program, OPLANs, CONPLANs, and TPFDDs exercise involvement to address biometrics aspects, conduct periodic review of Joint Services and Army biometric, forensic, and identity activities or operations policies, integrate updates and lessons learned into plans and policies for USARPAC Biometrics Program, coordinate biometric and site exploitation training requirements and policy with USARPAC staff, FORSCOM, HQDA, and TRADOC, regularly update USARPAC training policy and directives, and provide input on Partner Nation (PN) biometrics and identity operations training program policies and goals. Provide planning, management, control, coordination, and oversight of full-spectrum biometrics operations within the USPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) in order to support identity activities Identity Intelligence (I2) requirements by providing recommendations on critical end-to-end capability for US and PN biometric identity activities or operations and intelligence cycle to support tactical and operational decision making across warfighting, intelligence, law enforcement, security, force protection, homeland defense, counter threats, and internally displaced persons missions.


Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with identity activities or biometrics

-2+ years of experience with training

-Experience with C-IED training

-Experience with MSEL development

-Experience with formal military training techniques and education

-Ability to work with teams or independently, as required

-Active Top Secret clearance required

-HS diploma or GED


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as a senior NCO E8-E9 or Officer O3 and above with commensurate Professional Military Education (PME)

-Experience with military training management and Combat Training Center (CTC)

-Experience with conducting biometrics or site exploitation in MENA

-Experience with biometrics training

-Experience with Site Exploitation and Attack the Network

-Experience with curriculum development

-Experience as a collective trainer

-Ability to present at an executive level

-Ability to manage joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and multi-national stakeholders

-Possession of excellent analytical and reasoning skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Biometrics Certified Professional


Clearance:
